Description
Painting this portrait of my son painting his own creation was pure joy for me. Just as he seemed intent to do a precise job of painting the cardboard box house he had designed and made, I felt the same pleasure in resolving the challenge in creating the various textures of the scene. The smooth cardboard, the smoother glass with red paint, the rough carpet and the various other texture were all like a puzzle for me. As I painting him painting his project, I felt an extra special bond. Two people enjoying the the experience of creating!
