This, and the other similar painting, are so well depicted! The act o fbalancing on the rail, and your capability of balancing lights and darks, makes for a masterful painting!

Wow! AnnaJo! What a beautiful work! Love all your work but the ones showing your sons are really close to my heart! I love the textures and I can guess the amount of time taken to do this but what Love and Joy after finishing! F/V
AnnaJo Vahle replied:
Thank you so much, Belinda. This was a time-consuming painting. I'm not sure that I ever want to paint so many little white rocks ever again!

It is such a pleasure for me to see how you managed to transfer the feeling of instability that this man experience while waking on a railroad. Also you have managed to show the change in dimentiones and perspective of both the stones and the railroad's ties. You do such an amazing work AnnaJo. Just have magic in our hands.

I did a lot of walking the rails when I was a kid growing up in Chico, California. Those tracks in the center of town are long gone, but the memories are still very much alive! :) F/V

Thank you for your visit and comment and f/v. I am pleased that it brought back some nice memories for you. That makes me smile.
