Description
My dear friend, Marion, is a wonderful musician. He plays quite a variety of instruments. He and his wife have a beautiful music room. It is filled with violins, guitars, a cello, a viola, a mandolin, a ukelele and several other instruments. It is always a pleasure to spend an evening listening to him play one wonderful melody after another. His talent is amazing. He is one of those people, who seems to be able to play anything even if he has never tried it before. As a person, totally lacking musical talent, I am particularly amazed. I actually studied the violin for a few years but was never good. I did learn enough to appreciate the difficulty involved. His wife plays the keyboard. I took this photo as a study for a possible painting. There is such a nice warm comfort in this room. We have had many delightful conversations gathered in this musical room. We have discussed the issues of the world and offered suggestions as to how to solve it's problems. We have inspected various aspects of people and life. Music and art are the route to so many joys and understandings of everything, I think.
The name cello is an abbreviation of the Italian violoncello. This means little violone, referring to the violone (big viol), the lowest pitched instrument of the viol family. It is the second largest stringed instrument after the bass, in modern symphonies. The word derives ultimately from vitula, meaning a stringed instrument. The cello is increasingly common in traditional fiddle music. The cello is a member of the traditional string quartet as well as string quintets, sextets or trios and other mixed ensembles.

Nice alternative way of presenting what you saw, listened to and appreciated onto an image and in b/w too. I appreciate the description and agree with you that art takes in many different forms. l/f
