Description
This is a photo I took just as I was ready to depart after I began a painting that I called Owl Woods. I had to go back a couple more times to finish it. The light was a bit difficult since I was working under a thick canopy of trees. I wanted to get the light that dappled through the leaves. It only lasted about an hour before it was too dark and shaded to see the effect I was after. I found this location on a river road behind an old wooden church. This wooden picnic table and a double tiered table were there. I just leaned my painting on one of the tables, as you can see. I didn't bother to use my field easel. It was a quick easy way to set up and to clean up. The finished painting is in my acrylic gallery.

Great inspirational picture and I love the way you captured the moment on canvas as well as with a picture of the painting in the place it happened. Fabulous! F/V

Thank you, Kendall. I usually forget to photograph when I am out on location painting. The light was fabulous.
