Description
On my way to a wooded copse nearby, I saw this old ruin of a house up on a hill. A big flock of vultures were sitting on top and flying all around it. The windows were boarded over. Spanish moss drapes from the nearby trees. I found this the day after Halloween. There must be many stories about what happened in this house overlooking the Indian River in Cocoa, Florida. I hope to go back and see if I can find out and maybe do a plein air painting of it.

Fascinating....as I think old boarded up houses are by nature. But this one especially so, as one has to wonder why so many vultures are there. What stories! v/f
