Description
A red-shouldered hawk seems to have reached an impasse. He seems confused. He sat atop this sign for quite a long time allowing me to get quite close to take his photograph. Perhaps he has lost his way? I finally left before he flew away. He had been tolerant and I didn't want to make him uncomfortable by overstaying my welcome.
I took this photo with my Nikon at the Vierra Wetlands near Melbourne, Florida in Brevard County. The watermark does not appear on prints.

Good eye to spot this! Very much speaks of the Hawk having a decision to make - he could go right, he could go left. Or the third choice of staying in the middle of the road. Congrats on the 3rd place tie in the Roadside Arrows Contest.
