I awoke to this beautiful sunrise. We are so fortunate to see this sight in the morning from our backyard. I did an acrylic plein air painting of this same view some time ago. I will probably will do some more. I most certainly have photographed it a zillion times. It is always different and always beautiful. This particular morning, there were clouds building. I love to watch the clouds growing and evolving. It is one of the prettiest things in this area on the coastline of Central Florida.

This is actually a spring fed lake and not just a static lake. This is one of the Springs of Suntree near Melbourne, Florida. This is a Spring morning, too.

I saw a bald eagle fishing here yesterday morning. Unfortunately, I didn't succeed in photographing it. It was still an exciting way to start the day. We often see the heads of turtles popping up above the surface to catch a breath of air. Anhingas and cormorants fish here. Various waterbirds hang out here. Seagulls come in a large group from time to time to take baths. It is fun to watch them doing their bathing. Ospreys regularly fish here and take away fish in their grasping talons. Most mornings and evenings, we can see sandhill cranes strutting around the shore. They usually honk to each other every morning and evening. Their calls echo across the water making it a little difficult to discern their exact locations.

I photographed this with my I-Phone. I used absolutely no tricks.
