Title
Sunday Sunflower
Artist
AnnaJo Vahle
Medium
Drawing - Watercolor Pencil On Paper
Description
I was watching “Sunday Morning” one Sunday morning on television. I got out my new watercolor pencils. I had a vase with some sunflowers nearby since I was working on an acrylic painting of them at the time. Exploring the nature of the colored pencils, I came up with this. This was a new medium to me. Relaxing. I was influenced by the sun artwork of the show. They always show art of designs of the sun.
I am not quite sure whether this is actually a painting or a drawing.

AnnaJo, CONGRATULATIONS! Your work has been featured in the Home Page of The ARTIST BUZzz Group! You are cordially invited to POST image embed links for this distinction to the #8. GAs Features Archive Thread in the discussion tab. Thank you for your glimpse of beauty! Lovely AnnaJo! I call my WC PENCIL work a drawing if I do not active them…and if I do water-activate, then it is a painting. From the texture I see, it appears you kept this as a botanical styled rendering and did not activate; I, too, would call it a rendering. (In AnnaJo-land, there might be a virtual drawing and a magic wish to make it another “painting” by activating the colours?? ..:-) LF
