Description
You can see the rocket on the middle of the horizon as it sits on Launch Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. I photographed this from Cocoa Beach minutes after the launch was scrubbed. You can see rain all around the rocket.
Artemis I mega rocket's launch has been postponed after the launch team discovered an issue with an engine bleed in one of the rocket's four engines. Weather conditions also factored into the decision to scrub the Artemis I launch today, Mike Sarafin, the Artemis I mission manager, said.
A new launch date has not been set yet and the team will reconvene tomorrow to assess possible options, the mission's manager said. The next launch opportunity is on Friday.
Artemis I was scheduled to launch on a mission today to go beyond the moon and return to Earth. The aim of NASA's Artemis program is to return humans to the moon for the first time since 1972.

AnnaJo Vahle replied:
Thank you so much, Hanne. We only had a little damage because of the hurricane. We were incredibly lucky that we never even lost electricity while everyone around us did! f
