Description

Cocoa Beach in Florida along the Central East Coast. I took this photograph while walking along the beach in the Fall. It was a beautiful warm day. Clouds were moving in threatening to bring some rain. It is an almost daily occurrence around here at that time of year. I am always looking for ideas to paint. I might do just that one of these days.
It is one of my favorite places to exercise and/or get some relaxation. It always seems to calm my worries. Always brings me peace. It is good for the soul.
Cocoa Beach is a Florida city south of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. It’s a gateway to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which has rockets and iconic artifacts. The city is known for its beach and surf breaks. Inside a surf shop, the Florida Surf Museum traces the sport’s local history. Nearby Cocoa Beach Pier has eateries and shops. The maritime forest at oceanfront Lori Wilson Park attracts birdlife.
